Our ladies are on the road again when they take on Ashford United at Homelands Park, in their continued pursuit of the league title.
After successfully navigating their way to a well earned three points on a difficult pitch at Saltdean last weekend, our girls will find themselves plying their trade on a decent ground this Sunday. Actually I was just trying to behave myself. Saltdean's ground was diabolical. And so was the referee.
The quality of Ashford United's playing surface, however, should be appropriately suitable enough to accommodate our wonderfully talented players.
Ashford haven't had a great season but make no mistake they'll be up for it. They gained a creditable 3-0 win away to Haywards Heath last Sunday, leapfrogging Sporting Benfica who lost at home to Sutton United taking Ashford out of the relegation zone.
