With the opposition being difficult to breakdown yet toothless upfront, the scoreline matched that of the same fixture last season.
It also didn't help Dorking's cause missing their top scorer, signed from AFC Wimbledon, Megan Stow.
Darts started brightly with a statement of intent from Brionne Fowle as early as the 5th minute, who saw her effort cleared off the line.
On the half hour mark Brionne unleashed a tremendous strike, equalled only by the agility of keeper Tea Oldroyd, who deflected it over the bar by the skin of her finger tips.
Brionne wasn't to be denied though. On the stroke of half-time a brilliant cross whipped in by Emily Woodhouse was met with a bullet of a header from Brionne, leaving Oldroyd rooted to the spot.
The second half saw Darts continue to dominate and a brilliant strike from a tight angle by Emily Vaughan was deemed a fraction offside.
There was one heart stopping moment in the 90th minute when a Dorking forward found herself one on one with Jade Charlton who stood firm, positioning herself well to make the save.
Apart from that our defence kept the door shut for most the of game leaving Wanderers living off scraps.
Chana Hinds was as ever calmness personified and Beth Powell was taking no prisoners as usual.
Player of the match Brionne Fowle. One top drawer goal. Three valuable points.
And if it wasn't for a goal line clearance and a world class save, she would have been going home with the match ball.
